Wes Moore: A Brief Introduction

Wes Moore is a social entrepreneur, bestselling author, Rhodes Scholar, and an Army combat veteran. He first joined the Robin Hood family in 2012 as a member of our Veterans Advisory Board, which, among other achievements, successfully reduced the number of homeless veterans in New York City to functional zero.

Prior to joining Robin Hood as CEO, Wes founded and served as CEO of BridgeEdU, an innovative platform to increase the number of students graduating from college by reinventing the freshman year through high-touch and high-tech supports. His roots as a social entrepreneur date back to his college years at Johns Hopkins, where he founded STAND! to work with young people involved in Baltimore’s juvenile justice system.
