Find What Works Well

We seek to lead in partnership in everything we do. Because we understand that our that our collective impact is far more powerful than anything we can do alone, we’ve stepped up efforts to collaborate and communicate with the individuals and organizations developing and scaling proven poverty-fighting solutions.

Making It Work Better

In October, we launched the High Quality Schools Fund, a $15 million initiative to open new district and charter schools for the most under-resourced students across New York City. We intent for these schools to serve as models that can be scaled and replicated across the city.

Thought Leadership

We also hosted our third annual thought leadership conference, No City Limits: Reimagining the Poverty Fight, where we convened the New York City community alongside leaders from across the country spanning philanthropy, academia, government, business and media to discuss the best pathways to fight poverty and drive economic mobility.
