Because our board pays for all administrative costs, 100% of every dollar you donate goes directly to organizations helping New Yorkers in need.

Every year, we host hundreds of events – from concerts and conferences, to visits with our grantee organizations, to family-oriented activities.

There are many things that you can do to help New Yorkers in need. Gather your friends and family and start a fundraiser.

Lisa spent 24 days on an expedition up Denali, North America’s highest peak. She summited on June 1, 2016 and raised $45,650 for our city.

Ten-year-old Anatole sells homemade banana breads to friends and family monthly, and in just a few months, raised $332 for neighbors in need.

Eliza and her Riverdale Country School classmates sweat it out at their annual SoulCycle spinning fundraiser, raising more than $4,000 a year.
